Dear Parent,

Travelling Library;

The Travelling Library Book Club will arrive at school tomorrow and will be here until Thursday 27th September.  Classes will be brought to the fair on Friday to have a look at what they might like to purchase.  Purchases can then be made from Monday 24th to Thursday 27th between 8:20 and 8:50 and then between 3:00 and 3:30 in the afternoons.  Please do not send money for the book club in the weekly money wallets.

Dropping children off in mornings;

We would ask that parents of children in P2-P7 do not come into school with their children in the mornings as we are trying to encourage as much independence as possible. Parents are free to leave their children to the back door if needed.  If you need to speak with the class teacher please do so in the afternoons, after school or phone Mrs Anderson to make an appointment.  Teachers need to supervise in their classes in the morning and will therefore make arrangements to speak with parents at a time which is suitable to all.  Parents of Reception and P1 children are also encouraged to drop their children off at the door as soon as possible.

Morning drop-off;

Please do not park in the right hand lane of the driveway when leaving children off in the morning. Parking is limited to the left hand lane only and the right lane is to allow for the flow of traffic.  This is imperative as school should have unhindered access for emergency services at all times. Similarly, in the afternoon, cars should not be left unattended in the right lane when picking children up.

Money Wallets;

Please make sure you send your money wallets in each week on Thursdays or Fridays.

Breakfast Club;

Please consider breakfast club for your children from 8:00-8:50 each morning. At the moment we have between 12 and 16 children attending daily and they are getting a super breakfast and having a chance to play and spend time with their friends. Children can go every day, 1 or 2 days or can go on the morning if circumstances change and parents need to send their kids into school earlier.

Thank you,

Mr Frizzell
